VINTAGE & WINEMAKING
The 2023 season provided ideal conditions for premium Mount Barker Riesling. Winter rains, a dry spring, and a cool summer produced classic lemon and lime flavours, while preserving the crisp natural acidity that defines the wine’s structure and freshness.
Handpicked fruit was quickly destemmed and pressed to preserve freshness. The clear juice underwent cool fermentation with champagne yeast, then rested on lees for three months before racking, fining, stabilisation, and early bottling in September 2023 to maintain vibrancy.

2021
VINTAGE & WINEMAKING
The 2021 season brought above average winter rainfall and a dry, mild summer, perfect for ripening Riesling with vibrant acidity and fine tannins. Handpicked fruit was quickly destemmed, crushed, and pressed to preserve freshness. The clear juice was racked to tank and cool fermented with a champagne yeast strain to enhance purity and aroma. Post ferment, the wine rested on lees for three months to develop texture and complexity before racking, fining, stabilisation, and bottling. The result is a bright, well-structured Riesling with freshness, finesse, and impressive flavour clarity.
THE WINE
Pale straw in colour, this wine offers aromas of lemon blossom, citrus leaf, lanolin, and flinty notes. The palate is intense and citrus-driven, with fine phenolics and a crisp, acid led finish. With age, it has gained palate weight and greater harmony between tannin and acidity.
